Kora manufactures & sells Revolutionary High‐performance Yak Wool Clothing. Their clothes are designed for maximum comfort and ease of movement, so you can perform at your best in changing weather conditions and challenging environments.

Each garment is designed by renowned designer Piers Thomas. He has spent the past 25 years designing sportswear for brands such as Helly Hansen, Rapha and Patagonia.

Challenge

Kora was referred to us by the freelance developer Jason Mostert in late 2016. Kora were looking for Magento Experts to implement a new design on their existing Magento eCommerce website. Our team took the time to understand their requirements and made recommendations based on their business demands and the status of their existing site. Once the theme was successfully implemented, Kora was very satisfied and wanted to continue our making use of our services through our technical support package. We set the following key goals:

1. Code revamp in order to meet Magento development best practices
2. Increase speed and stability
3. Simplify navigation
4. Implement new design

Solution

Working with their in house designer we have redesigned a fully responsive website, which has resulted in huge site improvements and an improved customer experience. In doing so a number of custom features have been introduced including:

1. Optinmonster integration allowing Kora to setup interactive marketing campaigns.
2. Affiliate program integration
3. Image optimization, decreasing page load time & increasing conversion

As a result, Kora now has a fast and mobile-optimised site with a responsive design. Overall it has resulted in increased conversions and a more pleasurable experience for online shoppers.
